As founder and partner of The National Veterinary Group (NVG) I have a passion for helping Veterinarians with exit strategies for their practice and real estate.

With over 25 years of business transaction experience in diverse industries, I can say that Veterinarians are some of the nicest, hardworking and trust-worthy professionals you will ever meet. That is why I have dedicated my time and energy over the last few years to work exclusively with this amazing group of people. By forming a Veterinary Advisory Agency and a Veterinary Real Estate Fund it has allowed me to utilize my passion and expertise to help Veterinarians maximize the value of their assets and legacy when they decide to make a transition.

As a CPA I understand the importance of numbers, but my true calling is entrepreneurial in nature. I love collaborating with people and deal making. Early in my career, I followed my passion and entered business development roles in advertising and then the health care sector. Through hard work, persistence, customer service and developing professional sales skills, I became a top producer in these industries. This foundation remains the core of who I am today and reminds me daily of what it takes to be successful and stand out from the competition.

In 2005, I moved from Edmonton to Toronto to work with the Katz Group of Companies, one of Canada’s leading privately owned enterprises with operations in sports & entertainment, real estate and private investments. In my fourteen-year tenure, I was involved in senior management roles ranging from Vice President of M&A transactions to real estate investments and development. This invaluable experience honed by skills to become an expert in deal sourcing, acquisitions, negotiations, networking, due diligence and dispositions. One of the highlights was being involved in the real estate acquisition, development, and disposition of a fifty (50) store pharmacy portfolio which sold for approximately $500 million.
When I am not working you will find me spending time with my family outdoors. In the winter, I can be found at the local rink coaching my son’s Humber Valley Sharks hockey team or hanging with my kids at our favourite tobogganing hill. In the warmer seasons, we love going for long bike rides or playing soccer at the park where my daughter loves to teach me a thing or two. Our favourite family vacations are spent on the water whether it is a rented summer lake cottage or a winter escape somewhere warm.
